Students and parents often have very nice things to say about our courses and our team. So whenever medical school gets us down, we have a read through this page and it brightens up our day.
Hi! I attended your BMAT crash course in early September last year. Now I have just received my offer to read biomedical science at Oxford!!!!! Thank you guys so much for putting together loads of practice questions with detailed answers online as well as some excellent techniques! Couldn’t have ‘passed’ BMAT without your help! -Nancy (Offer from St Catherine’s College, Oxford)
Massive thanks – I attend both your bmat and interview courses and couldn’t be happier with the help I received! The bmat course covered all areas – I found it especially helpful for section 1, which without your techniques I wouldn’t have even known where to start! The resource online was also fantastic – I felt I had all the tools necessary to be well prepared for the exam. The interview course was also very useful, as before my Cambridge interview, I had only had 1 mock interview at school. I also really appreciated the fact I was able to change course dates when my Cambridge interview came through as earlier than the course I had booked originally. The students running both courses were fantastic- really knew their stuff and in general were just lovely to talk to and so happy to help. I’m delighted to say I’ve received offers from both Christ’s college Cambridge and UCL so far – my top two choices! So thanks again for the help! – Lucy
For those who are questioning whether 6med courses are good. They’re not, they are more than good , they are AMAZING!. I took the UCAT course and it was great. Quantitative reasoning and abstract reasoning were the two sections that i was especially worried about and often felt that these two sections would let me down the most. We did so much practice questions during the session, that at the end of it i felt far more confident. But most importantly the strategies that you learn from the tutors are vital and extremely helpful. For instance, i thought verbal reasoning was my strongest section but i still wasn’t getting a high enough score needed when doing practice questions, during the course i was taught a different strategy in approaching verbal reasoning and getting the answers correct. After the course, i went home and i applied all the techniques that i was taught and i saw a massive difference in my scores. I was hitting about an average 400/500 before 6MED, the day of my test i hit an average score of 680. I’m not a naturally smart individual and i even shocked myself. 6MED are great and i’ve recommended them to all my friends. The price is worth it. I’m taking a gap year but i’ve still got the course booklet with all my notes and practice questions that they gave to me. Which i intend to reuse when i sit the test again. Also definitely use UCAT Ninja, that helped me so much. The more practice you get the more better for you! I was told that you can’t revise for the UCAT like the BMAT, which is true but you can learn certain techniques that will better your chances and those techniques i learnt from my tutors at 6MED. Good luck!! – Reema
Hi Ali! Just wanted to let you know your fantastic bmat crash course and generous bursary scheme enabled me to get 6.6,6.2,3.5A and for that I just have to thank you sincerely. You have helped me and a number of my friends in our paths to pursue medicine. – Mharab (Offer from Oxford)
Thank you and your team again for your time and efforts, I thought the day was very well organised and professional. The students enjoyed the circuit greatly and appreciated both the style of the stations and the feedback, and found it all very useful. I am hopeful that we can do something similar again for the next cohort of applicants and that this training will result in many successful applicants this year. – Justin
I would just like to say a huge huge thank you for helping me obtain all 4 medicine offers! I attended your UCAT and Interview courses (which would not have been possible without your generous bursaries!), along with having my personal statement checked. All 3 100% enabled me to obtain interviews and then offers 🙂 Everyone who I met was super friendly and up for banter aha which made the whole process a little less daunting! -Haya
This is just to say thank you for all your amazing support, help and guidance. Both your bmat and interview courses were extremely helpful, especially the bmat one (which lead me to score above 6 in both sections!!). I have been given offers from both Imperial and UCL and couldn’t be happier. Thank you once again for helping me achieve my dream. -Carmen
Overall, great course and excellent learning opportunity. The enthusiasm of the instructors combined with all the extremely useful tips and strategies made this a course I would definitely recommend to others. The interactive style of teaching kept the course interesting, and kept the students awake. Other than the teaching, the 300 page book that comes with it is an ideal study guide to use when preparing for the test. Overall, I really enjoyed the course and 100% recommend it to anyone else taking the BMAT soon 🙂
Firstly, thank you very much for the BMAT Crash Course at Imperial last Sunday. I thought it was extremely useful, and much better than the UCAT course I attended earlier in the summer with Medic Portal – Lucy
I would just like to say a massive thank you to 6med for creating these courses. I attended both the UCAT and BMAT crash courses and would wholeheartedly recommend both. The UCAT crash course in particular was superb; from the amazing 6med team (shoutout to Dan from UCL!) delivering the course on the day, to the even more amazing course handbook (which you can tell they put so much hard work in creating and which became my bible whilst revising). As a gap year student the first time I sat the UCAT, and not having attended the course, I score an average of 615 (VR:510, QR:630, DA:680, AR:640). Second time round, after attending the course, I scored an average of 707 (VR:590, QR:710, AR:820!). The BMAT crashcourse with the BMAT Ninja are also an incredible value for money, and I have since gotten an offer from UCL 🙂 Ps: their website has incredible articles for the personal statement and interview.
I wanted to say that the BMAT crash course was truly excellent and expertly structured. The information given was extensive and relevant with many useful hints and tips. Also the instructors were very helpful and obliging. Please extend my thanks to the 6med team. Regards. – Katherine
I’d like to think that I’m quite a modest person so blatantly writing my BMAT scores on here is a bit weird for me! Anyhow Section 1: 6.3, Section 2: 5.7, Section 3: 4A. There is no denying that I am proud of what I have achieved. My first experience with 6med was the BMAT crash course and I found the day fantastic (technically I heard of 6med from a friend last year). The instructors (I think catherine and jake??) were encouraging and friendly and went through the bits everyone struggled with. I found BMAT Ninja very useful because there were so many questions to do that i know i would not run out of practise to do. I started practising a week before the exam and i finished like 60% of the questions!! Thank you very much for helping me get a fantastic BMAT score 🙂 . With regards to the interview crash course that was very good. Honestly, i have not had a look at the crash course booklet since that day, I felt that it was too bulky and i didn’t have the time to look through everything. Saying that, the day itself was good. we discussed common question which was good. I liked the set up how everyone was discussing and learning from each other. I was fortunate to do the mock interview infront of everybody. To say i benefited from that is an understatement. I sort of wish that everybody could have had the opportunity to do that because i learnt so much from it.
Really really enjoyed the bmat crash course. 90% was amazingly helpful. I feel that there needs to be more focus on recent papers and much more help with the essay section. Perhaps go through a wide arrange of possible essay titles in and give out the plans as well as the model essays. the ukcat ninja could use a lot of work, perhaps make it more like Medify (much more realistic to the real ukcat) but the bmat ninja was good. especially the solutions. thank you ali for offering such generous bursaries. you helped me so much towards my dream of pursuing medicine.
Hi..this is a parent..my daughter attended 3 of your courses UCAT,BMAT and Interview..just to give u a feedback..she got 4 interviews and 3 offers from UCL,Imperial and Kings..this would not have been possible without your help..thank you again.Appreciate your input so much..regards and please continue with the good work.
I just wanted to let you know that I got an offer from Imperial (my first choice!) and have had an offer to go on the ‘waiting list’ for Cardiff. Thank you so much for all your fantastic help last year. Just need to get the grades now! – Mani
Hi 6med! Gap year student here – first time I applied for medicine (2015) I didn’t attend any courses whatsoever and was completely lost with my UCAT preparation, used outdated resources that weren’t representative of the real thing (ISC 600 Q’s book 2013 edition…) and I didn’t follow any strategies – leaving me with a very poor UCAT score. Upon my reapplication (2016) I decided to go on your UCAT crash course, and thanks to the UCAT course handbook and the way that the course was delivered, I was able to improve my UCAT score by 190 points!! I realised what I did wrong last year, and ended up adopting the 6med strategies for success, and I am so grateful to you guys because I genuinely don’t think I could have done it without you 🙂 You made my UCAT preparation so much easier and efficient, even though I was already familiar with the UCAT I learnt so much more than I possibly could have alone. Result: 4 interviews this year (last year I had none) which has increased my chances of hopefully getting an offer..Oh and also, the support that I got even after attending the UCAT crash course via email for last minute questions – way unexpected. I would imagine most companies wouldn’t bother or truly care about the students after the course ends, but you guys have gone beyond in being there for every step of the process if needed, until receiving offer. So a massive thank you!! 🙂
I just wanted to say that I found this service amazing and I’ve recommended it to anyone who is considering doing the BMAT. I was in a tricky position as I found due to complex circumstances I could only apply to 1 Med school however this service was super helpful with not only BMAT help/ support but the general application process including interview / personal statement. They also made it financially possible for me to access this support so I really appreciate that too. I myself have no medics in my family and I was 1 of 2 applying to Medicine from my college so I’m super grateful for such a supportive service which can help those who don’t have many ways of getting the support. I had an interview from that 1 Med School yesterday. I’m waiting to hear back and keeping my fingers crossed. Thank you all so much for your help and I’m sure you’ve helped so many people get 1 step closer to their dreams. Keep doing what you’re doing because its honestly incredible. -Rebecca
Overall I really enjoyed the course and I guess most importantly it was really helpful! The small group size made the whole experience seem quite relaxing as you got to know everyone but, at the same time quite intense (in a good way) because the mentors had lots of time to dedicate to each individual. The fact you tailored the course to each individual was especially helpful- for example, I had an Oxbridge style interview by a mentor. The practise was invaluable to improve the way I answered questions and also, calmed my nerves! I’m really happy to say I’ve been given an offer to study medicine at Oxford and I can’t help thinking this course really helped me make my dream to study there a reality (if I get the grades to meet the offer hahah). So, really thank you so much 6med! Great value and great help 😊
Just to let you know that my son attended your BMAT course, did really well in BMAT which helped him get a place at Cambridge, which is fabulous… Really appreciate the help and support offered by your team. Thanks again. – Helen
Hope everything is good – I was at one of your UCAT courses in Imperial last year. Now I’m lucky enough to have a firmed an offer from King’s College London and insure an offer from Liverpool (as well as turn down another medical school!) I seriously think that getting these offers was down to a very high UCAT score – SO THANK YOU! If you have any tips for surviving in London (esp around London Bridge) then please let me know! I’ve also signed up for your partner scheme so look forward to working with you on that – the early signs are good! Thank you so much guys! – Max
I would just like to say thank you very much for allowing me to attend the interview course and thank you to Haroon for teaching it to me! I got 4/4 offers and firmed Kings College for Dentistry, I am actually on the return journey from my offer day now! I was going to tell you come results day but thought I’d pop an email now too! Thank you! Please tell Haroon too! Best wishes – Karisma
It was absolutely fantastic! The course was informative and funny. The tutors were friendly and had a good sense of humour. The mock interviews in front of everyone was an eye-opening experience and was valuable. Thank you guys for all your help in my UCAT, BMAT and Interviews 🙂
Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for the UCAT course you ran at Imperial last weekend. I felt obliged to sign up for ██████ (as everyone does), which I did, and have just finished the first day there. There is literally no comparison. The way in which your tutors, Aqib, Dan and Sheikh, led the course actually made the whole day really enjoyable and there was real personality behind the words, which unfortunately cannot be said about my ██████ course. The advice you gave is better, the fact your courses are led by a team of three is better, the handbook you gave out was better…. I could go on. You could literally just buy and read through the ██████ course book for the 50 quid or whatever it is on eBay and teach yourself – that’s all the instructor was doing. Sorry to go on… I just wanted to make my point (although I’m sure you’ve already had similar feedback from many of your students)… just wanted to finish (sorry this is so long) by saying thank you again and congratulations on setting up this company. People will soon realise ██████ is a rip off and companies like yours mean getting into medical school isn’t all about wealth 🙂
Firstly I would just like to say a big thank you for all the help and support you have given me. Everyone was very friendly on the Crash Courses that I attended (UCAT and Interview) and they were all very helpful. I am certain I would not have gotten my UCAT Score without both the support and advice on the Crash Course and UCAT Ninja. In the end I got an average of 770 and even surprisedly managed to get 900 on AR and 800 on QR! I would highly recommend this course to everyone I know as it is 100% worth it and it’s the cheapest and most reliable course that I could find. Thanks to my UCAT I was able to get all of my interviews from all the universities that I applied to (Kings, Queens, St Georges and Birmingham) and have received offers from three of them so far. Still waiting on Kings! I want to thank you also for having a look through my personal statement and helping me improve it and giving me valuable suggestions! The friendliness and supportive atmosphere created at the Interview crash Course was lovely and really helped with my confidence and consolidating my thoughts and approach to a Medical School Interview. The preparation and information I received that day about both MMI interviews and Panel interviews was vital and I believe helped me to prepare for all of my interview. Thank you very much on helping me through this long and hard medical school application journey. I couldn’t have done it without your dedication and hard work! Thank you! 🙂
The BMAT Crash Course was the best preparation possible for the exam. The teaching and resources were absolutely amazing, and made me understand exactly what I needed to do to succeed. The course was far cheaper than it should have been, and I can honestly say that the teachers (themselves Oxbridge medical students) were inspirational. If you’re taking the BMAT, you need to go on this course.
Just wanted to say a massive thank you for running the course, you guys are awesome. 🙂 I’m definitely recommending the BMAT crash course to Year 12 medics, and I’ll let you know how results go! -Izzy
The course was fantastic – I could not have asked for better. Our tutors were friendly and engaging, and made the intense day of teaching enjoyable. I learnt more physics in one day than I would have in a year at school, and I would definitely recommend the course to anyone taking the BMAT.
I received offers from both Jesus College Oxford and Imperial and I feel my BMAT score played a massive role in securing those offers. Thank you once again for the course – it helped me a great deal and I’ve recommended it to the medic applicants in the year below at my school.
Thank you, Ali and to Suhail, for today! It was really nice of you guys to let me on one of your courses again and I would just like to say thank you again. Your course was amazing, and it was really good to have been taught Section 1 as it is a bit of a trickier one, but your methods seem great. Your handbook is great, and it’s really nice to have all of the contents for the BMAT (particularly Section 2) in a book. Thank you for today. You two were really nice, kind and funny at the same time. You made it very enjoyable! 🙂 Thanks again!
Just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your advice on the BMAT crash course. I attended the Dorset one in September and I felt this email was necessary to say how brilliant it was! My results were 5.0, 6.1 and 5.0A (!!!). Before the course I was getting 3s… Essay writing is usually a very weak area of mine, and all the advice given instilled so much confidence in me. I’m not an unbelievably exceptional student so I can’t quite believe my results. I’ve applied to Oxford, but even if I don’t get invited to interview I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for making me realise the BMAT isn’t as impossible as it seems. I’m proud of myself and feel as though I have really achieved something.
Update: I just wanted to say a huge thank you for helping me conquer the BMAT – I now have a place for medicine at Lincoln College, Oxford! Can’t believe it. Thanks for all the help and say a special thank you to Jake and Suhail who ran my course.
Both the UCAT and BMAT courses were very informative. The instructors were amazing and I owe it to them that I’ve had 4 interviews and an offer from Oxford for medicine.
The course was absolutely fantastic and really allieviated my stress about the BMAT. The online content was especially useful.
A really useful revision tool! The explanations of how to answer questions were incredibly comprehensive and I used the same methods in my real exam!
Really helpful day. The guys are real and understand the challenges Involved in bmat prep.Pass paper answers and explanations on BMAT ninja were excellent, definitely worth the money. Thanks guys
Before the course I didnt really know much about the UCAT and in the few practice questions that I had done I was rarely getting them right in time. After the course I was doing much better because it taught me how to approach the questions and find the answer, and how to save time (this definitely helped on the day!). I was very happy with the score that I got in my UCAT and I think I would have ended up with a lower score if I hadn’t been on the UCAT crash course
The course was fantastic and dramatically increased my self-confidence. I did my UCAT test at the end of September and my UCAT score increased by 30% compared with last year which I am more than happy with. This is of course due to attending your course. I just wanted to say thank you very much, I can’t explain how grateful I am.
Hope you are well. I just wanted to email to convey my MASSIVE thank you to the organisation! I was given a bursary and paid highly discounted prices for the BMAT course, BMAT Ninja and Interview course, all of which were extremely helpful! -Milap
The course was very organised, we started and finished on time. The two trainers were excellent. They were very approachable and professional. I felt like they sincerely cared about everyone who attended the course and gave us the advice we needed. What I liked most about the course is that it was interactive and all participants took turns in answering questions. The advice given on the day was very useful especially the advice about type two questions in the verbal reasoning as well as the advice about mental maths. Finally, The trainers explained the situational judgment in a very simple way and give examples from his own experience which was very helpful and made it easier to remember. – Alaa
I just wanted to reiterate how useful I found Sunday’s workshop. It’s been 18 years since I looked at any physics or maths and to be honest I was feeling pretty apprehensive about the whole thing but in actual fact I really enjoyed it! You and Suhail explained everything really clearly and at just the right pace and the course handbook is a great resource – I’m now feeling far more confident (or maybe that should be hopeful) about taking the BMAT.
I did the interview crash course back in November and I just wanted to thank you guys because I’ve since had three interviews which I felt were manageable. I also have gotten an offer from Cambridge for medicine and I felt a lot more comfortable in the interview due the crash course! I wanted to email to say thank you to the whole team for putting together such a great course and to Haroon and Katherine especially, as they led the session I attended
It was definitely worth it, probably better than all others, and was the cheapest. Also, others don’t give out the book of notes on science, which is awesome. I learnt more in this short course than I could possibly have learnt in a 3 day, more expensive course. Definitely going to tell school to send all future med applicants here. They really instilled in us the confidence that we would do well.
I don’t think I would have done as well as I did in section 1 without coming to the course, so I’d like to thank you and Leo for that! I got a Cambridge interview invitation on the same day. I am so happy to have an interview to the point that I don’t really mind if I don’t get a place – don’t get me wrong, I will try my hardest at interview. I’m relieved everything has gone well so far. -Rachel
Thank you for kindly informing us the slight changes to the BMAT and being such a wonderful tutor. It was extremely generous of you and your team to organise a trip to Singapore to conduct the BMAT crashcourse and attending it did make me feel a little more prepared because I knew what to expect better. Although the pace of the lesson was very tight, you and Paul were very patient if we did not understand any concepts (especially for me with regard to the NHS question to identify that a correlation cannot be taken as a causation). I hope you enjoyed yourself in Singapore and all the best for your future endeavours!
– Max (2016)
Best wishes – Karisma (2016)
Hey Ali and the team, Just letting you know that I had 3 interviews and have come away with 3 offers for Graduate entry medicine! The course was great for prepping me for the interviews so thank you again for putting them on. The bursary was much appreciated! – Latif (2016)
Thank you to the lovely team at BMAT Crash Course (especially Ali and Usmaan) – you guys are stars! I’ve come out the other side with a great BMAT score and offers from 3 BMAT universities! The course itself is detailed, but definitely not overwhelming. Everyone is given a handbook with worked solutions from past papers and science notes for section 2 – it really covers all bases! Money shouldn’t be the difference between an interview and a rejection, and I was glad to see that the team at 6med really value this. BMAT Crash Course is the cheapest course on the market and is definitely the best value for money. They also provide bursaries to those who are really struggling, which is really admirable! They’ve got their heads in the right place! The Crash Course is well-structured, in-depth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this course. Thanks so much for being a part of my journey – I shall keep you all in my prayers. – Tasnim (2015)
I attended the UCAT Crash Course you held at Imperial this year ready for 2015 entry and you asked us to let you know how we got on. I took my UCAT today and was absolutely over the moon with 2940 and Band 1 and this really was so much down to the course I attended, so I just wanted to say thank you so much. The best part about UCAT Crash Course is the massive and incredibly personal booklet you get given. Unlike other UCAT books, there’s a voice behind the words written so it makes you feel like you are being guided through how to go about answering the question, even weeks after you’ve done the course! You’re also just really nice people and the way in which you teach is so good at keeping the room engaged because it’s non-stop flipping between learning from you and then applying the knowledge to the question in the timed 2 minutes before we move on. I found DA and SJT the most useful to be taught by you, as both are very difficult to teach yourself. I also went on a BMAT Crash Course, and that was just as helpful, so just my BMAT to come now! Thank you so much, as you really brought out the best in me.
I know that you’ve received positive feedback from me regarding the UCAT crash course but I thought that you’d like to know that the BMAT Crash Course at Cambridge was even more fabulous! The course has given me a more informed and efficient approach in tackling the questions (especially the Critical Thinking questions) and the Handbook is an absolute gem (I particularly like the worked solutions for each past paper). Although it was an intense and exhausting day, you both kept us all energised through constructive, helpful advice and occasional light, humorous banter. As a result, my scores have already begun to improve!!
I noticed this was the email for the organiser of the UCAT and BMAT crash courses, of which I attended both, and I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone involved in creating two brilliant days that helped me so much towards gaining good results in both of the tests – I truly think that I wouldn’t have done nearly as well without the tips and advice I gained from coming on the course. I have just received an offer from Oxford Medical School and the BMAT was obviously a huge part in that process, so I just wanted to say a massive thank you particularly for the BMAT course for putting on such a brilliant day and say that I would highly recommend your courses to anybody.
I started looking for courses after doing some UCAT preparation from some books, and I wasn’t scoring high enough — so I thought I’d look into UCAT courses which I knew were notoriously expensive. Then I found the UCAT Crash Course and BMAT Crash Course. 6med is a company whose goal is to allow students to have access to high quality courses for the UCAT, BMAT and interviews, with the goal of breaking the barrier of having money. I could not believe it when I was able to go onto your UCAT and BMAT course at no cost. I am so grateful for the outstanding support you have given me to aid my application to medicine. I would like to thank yourself and everyone-else who put the course together. The course was sensationally helpful. Aqib and Dan started off with a brief introduction, telling us about what we need to know about the exam, providing some very specific tips to help with preparation. We then progressed through the exceptional UCAT Crash Course Handbook, going through each section of the exam in an orderly fashion with strategic tips, practice questions and review. We went through the questions in a very specific order, allowing us to get used to each question type and the strategies used for each. In the handbook are many strategies which are helpful, and not many of these are found in books online which are mostly full of questions. The handbook is an excellent guide, and the tips allow you to not only get the questions right but within the time limit of the actual exam which we got to experience by doing the practice questions. Practising the questions, I was amazed as to how effective the tips were and was shocked that I was able to answer the questions. Throughout the day, Aqib and Dan went over the 4 core sections and then, at the end, there was a short but very sweet exploration of the SJT which was nice to be taught and which provided very simplistic but efficient guidelines when answering SJT questions. Aqib and Dan were fantastic tutors and brought humour into their fantastic teaching. They were more than willing to help and focused on the needs of each individual by providing individual support. For this, I would like to given them an extra thank-you for their outstanding support. I would recommend this course to absolutely anyone: the tutors are amazing; the handbook is amazing; the overall course is amazing. Thank you so much!!!
First of all, thank you very much for such an amazing start! I now feel like I can channel my time effectively on practice. Without the course I think most of my practice would have been basically useless. Now I can apply the techniques you have shown to be effective and hopefully get a good score 🙂 The booklet is also brilliant! Thank you for your time and such an amazing course! (I have already recommended it to some of my friends doing ██████ and they have now cancelled it and are booked on your course).
I attended one of your courses last month in London, ahead of my three med school interviews. Just wanted to say a huuuuuge thank you, since your course gave me a really big confidence boost as well as providing me with the nifty little details in the course book which certainly gave me an edge in the interviews!
I attended the Interview Crash Course on 15th November at Imperial in place of my daughter, who was unable to get there as she had injured her knee the day before during a lacrosse match. I just wanted to say a really big thank you to the instructors, Samah and Seb, who were both most impressive and passed on a huge amount of information in a really interesting and memorable way. Could you please let them know that I think they did a fantastic job and that I have since been able to pass on most of what they said to my daughter. The booklet you produced to go with the course is also proving to be an invaluable learning tool, so fingers crossed when it comes to interview time.
BMAT crash course was extremely useful for exam strategies and really helped during the exam. The course itself could have possibly been timed better as certain sections took longer and some were not covered in as much depth. The BMAt ninja was probably the most useful thing that I used as prep and was designed well. Apart from a few spelling errors the crash course book was extremely helpful. My BMAT score was 5.9 6.7 and 3A
I wanted to say how impressive and helpful the course run at Manchester Urmston Grammar was. I only discovered UCAT crash course from a google search, but I would like to promote your course at the school I attend. Thank you thoroughly for a fun and challenging day.
I really liked the BMAT Crash Course. The instructors were funny and jovial, and taught us an absolutely huge amount. The courses were beautiful, and thanks so much for giving me a bursary too!!!
The course was incredible, the advice was really helpful and has genuinely helped to improve my technique and the way I approach the questions. The teachers were friendly and approachable, and made the day really enjoyable. The book full of questions and advice that I got was also really great. If you go on one course, I’d definitely recommend this one, it’s genuinely worth it.
You guys are fricking amazing, I rate you guys so much!
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. YOUR SERVICES ARE GIFT FROM GOD.
I found the course great, all of the basics were covered and I learnt quite a few great tips, I would definitely recommend it to others wanting to study medicine 🙂
Thanks for the great course, it was really helpful! The critical thinking and problem solving sections were especially good because all the stuff I learnt about critical thinking at the course was basically new and it has made section 1 a lot easier for me. Even if I’d been able to learn all this through books and other resources, it would have taken so much longer than a few hours and much harder to understand without your clear explanations. Also the course handbook with example questions and advice is invaluable.
I just wanted to say thank you so much for the excellent UCAT course (I attended last Saturday). I learnt so much and there is not one aspect of the course that I would change. I think that the fact that this course is run by medical students makes it even more dynamic and effective! Knowing that your support does not stop when the one day course has finished makes it more special and your enthusiasm to help with other areas of the application process is really appreciated. Thank you.
Just wanted to say I took the UCAT course about a month ago and did my UCAT yesterday – I got 700 (2800) which is what I really wanted! I did the ██████ course last year and only got 649 so will definitely be recommending you. Thanks!!
Thanks so so much for the discount code. I persuaded my parents and I did go on the course- which saved my life- and Haroon and Samah were amazing. I had my 3 interviews at Cam yesterday which all varied but the general consensus was not disastrous. Once again thanks for everything honestly I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. I’ll be sure to inform you of the outcome of my Cambridge application in January, praying it’s a good one! Just need to focus on preparing for my Imperial interview in Jan now (and probably my actual A-levels! -Yasmin
Hey guys, I attended the crash course today and I must say, it’s really managed to kickstart me into getting my routine together. It also inspired a great deal of confidence into me from it. I’d just like to extend a personal thank you for your wonderful services. I’ll be looking forward to the interview class up next! 🙂
I’m just writing a quick message in response to your fantastic course at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge last Sunday. The instructors were incredible helpful and I am finding revision so much simpler and a lot less stressful than it was before.
Thank you so much for letting me attend the course this weekend in Cambridge after I couldn’t come last Sunday. It was a really great day and I am definitely feeling more confident about interviews! The course was a brilliant opportunity and has really boosted my interview preparation!
I’m waiting to see how I did in my Leicester and Sheffield MMIs but more importantly, I actually got an offer to study Medicine at Imperial (my top choice uni!) and I don’t think I could have done it without you guys, so thank you so much. Keep up the good work, these courses are a godsend.
I just wanted to thank all you guys for a very informative and an educational day. Before attending the UCAT crash course, I wasn’t aware of the brilliant strategy that you had. It’s succinct, concise and straight to the point. I, honestly have no constructive criticism on how to improve the course. Its fab!
I told the guys on the day, but I just want to reiterate how excellent Daniel, Sheikh and Aqib were. Their eloquence and good-humour made what could have been a slightly dull (albeit useful) day into a genuinely enjoyable experience. Their advice and the manual you provided are looking to be very useful guides through the long hours of practice that loom ahead.
I am so thankful for the BMAT Ninja. I was feeling so lost and didn’t know where to start and how to revise but this really helped me through. I was so happy when I saw some questions in the exam that were so similar to the ones I did on your site. I was sad that I discovered 6med quite late into my revision and couldn’t make the most out of it so my score wasn’t great but that’s only my fault. I am planning to take a gap year and attend one of your live BMAT courses as well as use the BMAT ninja again. I am determined to make it this year. Thanks so much for everything!
I had my UCAT yesterday and I got 738 average and I am buzzed with that score!! So I’m just e-mailing to thank you guys so much for your techniques and support. I believe it genuinely helped me and I’ll be sure to recommend this course to younger students for next year! Thanks again and good luck with your future endeavours!
Thank you very much! I can not imagine a better way to start and build-up in BMAT preparation. It was definitely worth coming here from Slovakia. You are really nice people and the course was intense, yet really enjoyable. I really appreciate it!
I attended the BMAT course with little prior knowledge of the exam and it’s contents. But both Tutors Ali and Suhail were really excellent in teaching me some full proof methods of the three sections which really helped boost my confidence. The workbook provided is excellent and is the perfect tool for revision, and the atmosphere of the class is great! I whole heartedly recommend the BMAT crash course to all future Medicine applicants!
Thanks so much for the course today, it was so amazing! I couldn’t have possibly hoped for better. I shall definitely send friends next year! Just reading through the notes and they are so detailed and intense, can really see all the hours that went into it!
Surprisingly relaxed atmosphere which helped all of our nerves! The teachers were really good 🙂
Miles better than ██████ for a fraction of the price. Very comprehensive, good notes, good banter. Didn’t seem commercial at all which I loved. The pace was perfect, and the dynamic between the two of you was perfect.
I really think this course was superb value for money. Thank you so much for your time and effort!
Hello, I attended your UCAT Crash Course and last week scored 720, 880, 710, 770 and Band 1, to give an average of 770, so thanks so much for your help!
Really worth the money, each section was explained in sufficient detail and I now feel more confident going into the exam. The resources we got given are amazing too! Would recommend to anyone 🙂
The course covered all of the aspects of the BMAT in great depth and I can already see how much improvement I am making by using the techniques we were taught. So thanks a lot for the help! 🙂
I came on the BMAT Crash Course last Sunday in Cambridge. It was very useful and enjoyable! The notes you gave us as part of the course are going to be fantastic in the run up to the Bmat exam as well.
I thought the course was nearly perfect ♥ I loved the tips and methods you gave me, and doing it in a fun way made everything feel easy. I feel my chances have improved in a good way. Keep doing what you’re doing. Thanks ♥
Went through everything needed. Great recap of all sections! Physics seems a lot easier after the Crash Course. Amazing work guys, would defo recommend it to a friend or anyone sitting the BMAT exam
Just like to thank the 6med team and say that it’s really good you are providing this for anyone who wants to do medicine!
Much better than other courses I’ve been on, and the teachers were enthusiastic and entertaining.
Thanks for never making us feel stupid. You meant it when you said “no question is a stupid question.
Fantastic. I used your UCAT Crash course, UCAT Ninja, and the Personal Statement Review service. I scored 747 (Band 1 SJT), could not have done it without you guys! PS Review, excellent and prompt (thank you Ali!). Would definitely recommend 6med! Anon (Kent)
Really good energy from teachers to keep everyone engaged. Great strategies.
Loved it, it was very useful, especially the strategies 🙂
Banter was quality. 10/10
You have done an absolutely excellent job, thank you so much!
Will recommend to year below + Miles better value than ██████.
Brilliant course, brilliant presentation and presenters. I managed to get a 6, 5.5, 4A in my BMAT.
Found it really useful – especially the mock Oxford interview. It helped me to think more laterally about my answers and reflect on my personal experiences. Putting us on the spot gave me chances to think on my feet and simulate interview conditions and pressure. Thank you!
I attended both the BMAT and interview courses and both of them were fantastic. The course books provided are extremely comprehensive and the BMAT one contained numerous questions with explained answers. The instructors are always friendly and willing to answer questions during or after the session. I would highly recommend.
I came to the Oxford crash course for bmat a week ago and just to let you know… It exceeded any of my expectations so thank you so much! I seriously doubt any other course or guide would give us the tips and techniques that you taught us…. So thank you!!!! PS: Fractions are my friends, and the book is my bible.
My advice to any UCAT candidate is to attend one of these courses! I was really struggling with my whole UCAT preparation, and had entered the panic stage where I was so stressed out about everything. On the course everything I couldn’t do was explained so well, with examples and questions to practice on. The tutors had prepared a booklet of notes and questions for us to take home as well, which meant that we could go over everything again at home. The tutors themselves were really friendly and knowledgeable, and were happy to help, and to slow down and recap things that people weren’t sure of. Overall it was a really great experience and helped me to achieve a score of 747.5 in the 2014-2015 cycle.
I’d just like to say that I found the UCAT Crash course that you organised incredibly informative and engaging. You were both jovial, approachable and very competent throughout the entire event. Since the course, the UCAT Crash Course handbook has been my bible and I have been utilising many of the techniques that you taught us, and my marks have significantly improved!! This UCAT crash course is without doubt the best UCAT course available on the market and I will enthusiastically recommend it to my family, my friends and other students in my school. I am now enrolled in the BMAT Crash course at Cambridge in September and I hope to see you two there!!
Attending this course for my UCAT in 2014 was a very wise decision. Not only was it affordable for the quality of teaching I received, the thick booklet given to us whilst on the course was great to refer back too during further revision at home. The course covered in depth techniques for all sections of the UCAT with timed practice questions to put these techniques into use, as well as explanations for all questions attempted. I would thoroughly recommend this course to all of my peers.
This is just to say the interview course today was top banter. Seriously though, it was really helpful and although I struggled at the beginning, by the end I could string a sentence together with decent content. The interviews don’t terrify me as much any more! Thanks so much and keep doing awesome courses!
I much preferred the BMAT Crash Course to the ██████ course. Crash course covers the science and formal logic better than ██████ for considerably less money. Plus it’s reassuring to have oxbridge students as your tutors.
I would just like to thank you all so much for today! The sections were broken down very well and it was very clear. The teaching was great too! I am VERY glad I signed up for this course!
I found the BMAT course really helpful to structure out the the bmat to make it easier – especially section 1 as well as some good tips for section 2 and 3. My BMAT score was 6.1, 5.1 and 3A.
The interview course really helped to analyse different parts that could come up that I’d never thought about and actually get into the mindset of being prepared for an interview – not by practising lines but generally have responses for certain subjects.
Very helpful for AR and SJT AND Teachers = lovely, bright and hilarious.
I thoroughly enjoyed the compact and condensed yet detailed nature of the BMAT crash course. Besides the instructors’ comprehensive guide to BMAT, I was also able to benefit from their experiences in the admissions process (getting advices on interview, personal statement, college choice, etc.). The instructors are also quick to update the subscribers on the latest syllabi and I will be sure to recommend this course to my juniors next year 🙂
The course for the day was very well structured, with very friendly and helpful student teachers. I do like the idea of students passing on their techniques as they have been through this process first hand and know what other students are anticipating. Well done guys and thank you.
(I hope this is the right email address!) I just wanted to say thanks to you & all the team for all the help at the BMAT crash course last October – I managed to end up with interviews at Oxford, UCL and Imperial and offers from UCL/Imp! I’ll how be heading down to UCL this month to start my studies in medicine so thanks for providing such a great insight into the nightmare that was the BMAT. (And thank goodness I don’t have to do it again!!) – Anastasia
Just wanted to let you know, that the interview crash course at Cambridge was extremely helpful and informative. Helped me loads. Katherine, Samah and Seb were awesome! Keep up the great work guys!
I was hesitant about spending hard earned money on any courses for medical entrance exams, but i’m so glad i attended the BMAT crash Course. The teachers were clued up but entertaining at the same time. As a graduate applicant i was daunted with the concept of covering subjects i hadn’t touched in years, but Ali and Usmaan were fantastic at summarising and simplifying everything. I feel much more confident now.
I found the day very useful! The work book provided was of really high quality in terms of content and it was nicely bound and presented. The only improvement I would suggest is for there to be more practise questions available to attendees for free. After spending money on the course it would be good to get more questions as we seemed to complete them all in the book on the course.
Very good and helpful course and the medical students were enthusiastic and put in extra effort if we missed parts to help us catch up. They made sure everyone was involved and that we all benefited from the courses. BMAT ninja was good but the reason I didn’t use ukcat ninja was because it would have cost extra.
Amazing UCAT session, the students know what they are talking about and helped me achieve a score of over 700! UCAT Ninja way another amazing way to help me achieve a top score!
Before going on the course my section one was all over the place and I rarely got over a 4.5 in past papers, but the strategies you taught me really worked and were able to get me a score that kept me competitive, which was especially important with no UCAT to fall back on! My section two was undone by timing, but I would have been lost without the clear physics guidance which I got on the course. Any maths guidance would have been welcomed though. I also have to thank Katherine and Leo for being such good instructors. They made what was a grueling day quite bearable!
After having a little panic the week before the BMAT, I looked online and found this was the only course I could genuinely afford to go on, I am so grateful because without it I was headed for a much lower score and now I have three more chances to secure a place for medicine!
I found BMAT Ninja to be the best available resource when it comes to mastering the test. It’s a complete package, everything you might need in order to succeed!
The preparation was fantastic for the course and the practice questions with full explanations were indeed really helpful. I was able to get the score I needed for all the schools I applied for, however I missed the interview course and got rejected from Oxbridge unfortunately. Who would’ve known that preparation was so key?! A strong number of the other applicants I talked to had received interview practice at their private schools and if you don’t have access to such material, I highly recommend investing a bit into this project!
I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone considering doing the BMAT. All the necessary science was taught exceptionally well and an incredible set of notes and worked examples were provided.
Teachers are nice and helpful. Even if we are more than 20 people, they are able to take care of everyone, and make everyone participate. They are also providing revisions for the scientific knowledge, and, for international student, it’s really useful because of the different ways of teaching all around the world. And they’re all funny! 🙂 Thanks a lot
Your course is absolutely fantastic! It was a great session, summarising all parts of each section well and providing necessary tips to succeed. Thank you!
Brilliant day guys, I picked up a lot of techniques for questions I was struggling on. Excellent!
The teachers were really helpful and ensured everyone understood what they had covered. I definitely feel more prepared for the BMAT exam.
I now feel a meltdown during the BMAT exam is not 100% going to happen. #happydays. You guys seem really cool
I have used UCAT and BMAT ninja question banks (the free of charge versions), which have helped greatly in my preparation for both the examination. I have completed both of the question banks and I have really enjoyed to formula of choosing the length of set (BMAT ninja). The tips and theoretical information regrading section 2 of BMAT were also presented in clear and approachable way. On the whole, I think that looking back I would probably have spend the additional 30 pounds as I have learned a great deal of information and techniques. My scores were: UCAT 2330 and STJ band 1 and for BMAT 6.6, 6.2 and 2.5
So good. Couldn’t believe how clear you managed to make everything. I just kept thinking, I’ve never had teachers this good before. And not even qualified. Brilliant! Thank you! Best course hands down. Was not expecting it to be this good. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.
Brilliant for practising sections 1 and 2, where I achieved 5.5 and 5.9. It would be helpful if there was more emphasis on section 3, as I only got a 2A in this due to lack of practice. However I still received an offer from Oxford, so thank you very much!
My son recently attended the UCAT Crash Course and for the first time ever after going on any course has told me that it was extremely useful and helpful.
Very informative and helpful. Especially for Oxbridge applicants. Also, the teachers were very supportive and boosted my confidence.
BMAT ninja has been the most help single resource I have ever encountered for exam preparation! Words cannot describe how effective and easy to read it is! I had under 10 days to prepare for the exam and it saved me and made me confident. There is almost no way I could have prepared for the BMAT this successful with this amazing online resource that truely is trailered to the BMAT exam. It lacks waffle, it’s clear, concise and even amusing to read! It’s actually fun to read haha. Only qualm I have about the BMAT Ninja resource is that it had some grammatical errors that threw me off a little. Having said this, they are not major. Another thing I wish the 6med team did was to update the guide per year. It doesn’t look like it had been update very much. I could however, be wrong about this. I’d like to see these changes for the 2017 guide as I’ve decided to re-take the exam to score higher with more time this year to prepare than the ten days I had previously.
On a separate note the BMAT 6med website is inspiring to read and makes me feel like I can do it. This is something I really liked and it actually helped me stay motivated, I imagine this too is the case for others.
Basically speaking, BMAT Ninja saved my life. As an international applicant I had no idea what is required and what exactly should I focus on. So I was very happy to find you. Thank you and my BMAT score was: 5.6 in Section 1, 4.9 in Section 2 and 3A in Section 3.
This course is great and thanks to 6med i got 5.6,5.7 and 4A in the BMAT and have secured an imperial interview 🙂
The bursary system is brilliant. I paid a small donation however would not have been able to access this resource if id had to pay the full price. Hence I’m very grateful as it’s enabled me to receive an Oxford offer, who consider your BMAT score as part of their application process.
Much better course than ██████.
Very informative, helped to polish my skills. Great way of teaching with going through examples.
A great course, well delivered for all stages of preparation, thank you! A big help!
Fantastic course, really helpful and insightful, I will be looking at BMAT course also. Thank you!
I think the course is really effective and has increased my confidence in preparing for the ukcat. The teachers were approachable and explained things really well.
Best day of my life.
It was very useful and relevant. Covered a broad range of questions and this helped improve my confidence J
I liked how we went round in pairs and got to see how our peers would answer the questions. [I liked] how all stations changed so got to see 20 different stations.
Course Quality – pretty good interviewers. Some things were difficult but just like in an interview, so pretty insightful
Interviewer Quality – amazing especially the acting
I liked how structured and informative the feedback was and the opportunity to observe and try yourself the next round was great.
It helps me a lot
Wide range of questions, useful feedback
Good selection of stations – I feel adequately prepared now
Comprehensive and detailed. Interviewers were really friendly and made me feel at ease while offering vital advice
I liked how clear and comprehensive the feedback was
BMAT score: 5.2, 5.3, 3A . I found the course great, all of the basics were covered and I learnt quite a few great tips, I would definitely recommend it to others wanting to study medicine:)
I liked about the way that the interviewer gives appropriate comment and information about how we could improve better
The handout is very extensive and the MMI circuit simulation was very realistic. Constructive feedback was given as well J
I like how the interviewers have thorough feedback for each section. I think it will really help me to improve my interviews.
It was perfect.
Going from 4.5s to 6.2s in the real exam, BMAT ninja was my best resource for the test. A great service that concisely sums up section 2 of the BMAT, highlighting the most difficult/the most common areas on the exam, and fantastic tips from section 1 & 3, without which I would not have gotten the score that I eventually got. 🙂
The interviewers give me many detailed feedbacks and the experience is well organised.
Gave very detailed comments!
Feedback are really detailed and useful
The contents of the course were quite useful. Important questions that may come up during real interviews were asked as well. I really do like the interview crash course book as it is filled with essential information for interview preparation.
It was really interesting with a balance in the different types of scenarios provided. Really helpful.
Thank you guys, you are dong a great job at helping people in medical school application process.
Huge variety and also the feedback was nice. Mimics a real life situation.
It was excellent overall.
Best of luck with everything and keep up the hard work with the course.
It was really helpful! Thank you
I love you
Roleplay acting was superb, really got into it. Very realistic.
Thank you for the help, it means a lot.
Thank you all !!!
Thank you guys, you are doing a great job at helping people in medical school application process.
Long day but definitely worth it, goes through each section in detail and you get a book at the end with practice questions and notes, I got 2290- would recommend!
