How do the BMAT date changes affect me?

You may be thinking that it doesn’t sound like a big change but actually, it means you have lost 2 weeks of preparation time. This makes preparing earlier absolutely crucial this year.

If you are looking for effective preparation, the BMAT Bundle provides you with structured learning to keep on top of your application. This particularly important in a year where dates have changed.

Depending on when you read this, you will now only have a few months before test day. For most of you, the next few months are not empty. There’s work experience to gain, a personal statement to write and redraft and redraft again, and lastly, the UCAT to sit.

You may feel silly planning so early in advance of October, but setting some goals for when you will work through the BMAT specification, answer countless practice questions and practice essay writing is key to ensuring you stay on top of your application and avoid last-minute stressful revision.

Top applicants will have started working on their BMAT performance early on in the year as doing little and often consistent work will help identify weaker areas in the test. This means you’ll have plenty of time to work through these weaker areas way before test day. Don’t forget to practice using pen and paper too as this has also changed.

What are the BMAT Costs?

The costs have changed too and it appears the BMAT is now more expensive.
