The 6med MMI Crash Course is a half day medical interview preparation course. It’s an incredibly rewarding practical day that is both fun and informative. Check out our Reviews page to see what previous students have said about the course
Timings & Timetable
The course will start at 14.30 and end around 18.40. We ask that students try to arrive by 14:15 due to the tight timing of the MMIs to avoid unnecessary delays and prevent you from missing out.
14:30 – Registration + Introduction
15:00 – First MMI Circuit
16:30 – Short Break
17:00– Second MMI Circuit (with different scenarios)
18:30-18:40 – Debrief + Goodbye
The 30 minute break commences at 16:30. Feel free to bring any light food if you wish to eat during this period.
Unfortunately, due to the location of the venue and the length of the break, there is no opportunity to purchase food from a local shop but there is a small cafe on the ground floor. We recommend you do this before the course starts, if you wish to do so.
What To Bring
We ask that you come dressed as you would to your real interview. We want to make the day feel as close to the real thing as possible.
As you will be doing a lot of talking, we also suggest you bring yourself a drink.
Other than that, all you need to bring is a can-do attitude!
Every student gets a free copy of our 6med Interview Crash Course handbook – this is a 250-page A4-sized book containing lots of interview tips, questions with model answers, case studies and dossiers about topics you should know about. You can get an idea of what’s in the book by visiting the Course Materials page.
