There are 34 medical schools in the UK, and choosing the right one for you will take some time (do note that some are graduate-entry only). A lot of the time, you have to be tactical about where you apply – medical schools look for different things, and you have to play your strengths, both academically and in your personal statement. Take your time and start thinking early about where you want to apply. In a lot of cases, you’ll need to have your UKCAT and predicted A-level grades before making any final decisions.
